Velké Losiny papers, handmade in the Czech Republic, look & feel luscious in every colour. This particular colour—chamois—has been retired from the papermaker’s repertoire. I am pleased to have cornered the market on the remaining stock, thanks to Pavel, my fine paper purveyor extraordinaire. It looks as if it’s been dipped in English Breakfast tea, elegantly evocative of vintage correspondence. If you like the shade as much as I do, dally not. (I’m not shamming you!)

The generous envelope flap is deckled all the way around, and the notecard has a natural deckle on all four sides. The stock takes all manner of media beautifully: watercolour, graphite, coloured pencil, and even glue for collage.
