Little Linen-covered Book

12.00

The smallest handmade book in the shop is 3 x 3 — and weighs barely an ounce. The front and back covers are squares of hand-dyed linen (no two the same). The interior pages are watermarked Esleeck Fidelity Onion Skin. The slightly cockled, crisp finish is great for micron pen, fountain pen, or sumi-e brush pen. Lightly applied watercolour would be dreamy. The Japanese-style binding is, appropriately, Japanese undyed cotton yarn.

The book fits perfectly in a square (3½ x 3½) glassine, sealed with a dainty bit of washi. The glassine gets an outer wrap of white tissue on the bias. Fresh & dressy.
