These reversible pillows deliver double happiness to any surface or circumstance. They are lovely to look at top and bottom, front and back, heads or tails. And they smell truly heavenly. Carrying one in the car is a great idea: you can gently squeeze the pillow to relax, give your fingers a tactile moment, and release a waft of Provençal summer.

The fabrics are from my collection of Japanese vaguely vintage cottons from Aiko’s, mostly blue & white, with a bit of grey or deep red. The pillows are made for Bari Zaki Studio by Maili Powell, the proprietress & seamstress-in-chief of Soutache (two doors down). Maili selects two buttons to complement the pair of fabrics on each pillow, delving into her global treasure trove.

The pillows measure a generous 4 x 4 inches and about ¾ inch at their fluffiest. Each one is unique, and I will select for you.
