This hand-assembled kit contains the luxurious paper to make five 5 x 7 envelopes (without a template!), plus an assortment of decorative papers to line them. The hand-out provides six pages of step-by-step instructions and tips, with numerous illustrations & diagrams by Emery Kennett. As you might hope, the pages are held together with a teeny butterfly clip covered in Japanese paper. As you might also hope, the hand-out comes protected in a large envelope with Your Very Own Name handwritten on its label. Last, but definitely not least, the kit includes a little glassine envelope brimming with enough vintage postage to mail your five freshly folded envelopes!

Materials:

– 5 sheets of 8½ x 10½ Hahnemuhle Bugra (folds into a lovely envelope approx. 5 x 7)

– 5 sheets of 8½ x 11 cartridge paper to practice with

– 5 sheets of 8½ x 11 Japanese decorative paper (for lining your envelopes)

– 1 glassine envelope brimming with usable vintage postage (5 envelopes’ worth!)

The kit is available with or without this set of tools: bonefolder, Xacto-knife, Italian aromatic glue-stick, triangle ruler, Japanese paper covered pencil. (You can also buy some tools separately.)
