This set of ten large (5 x 7) postcards mostly showcases objets in the shop. The watercolour illustrations by Janet Bouldin also include one of my shopfront, one of my complimentary signature wrap (white tissue–French embroidery thread–our favourite washi tape of the day) and a threesome of as-yet uncoloured spools of waxed Irish linen thread. Yes, you are cordially invited to colour them in. (See enticing photos at left.)

Each set is wrapped with a paper band (of handsome Hahnemühle Bugra) featuring an original unique illustration by Janet. “Original” means a charmola tiny treat watercoloured by Janet directly on the wrapper, a glimpse of Janet in action! Might you do anything with the band? You might, because it is simply washi’d at the back, so you can liberate it intact, to do with as you will, or whim!

The back of each card features a descriptini by my postal muse, Alyson Kuhn. These are more than mere icing on the postcard cake. They are more like postcard poetry.

Sets are available with or without deluxe Hahnemühle A-7 envelopes.
