This set of 13 (binder’s dozen) delightful watercolours is inspired by Janet’s garden, her travels, and simple domestic interludes. She says “I’m often most inspired by the small, homey stories in my sight line.”

The 4 x 6 postcards are printed on Mohawk Superfine. The watercolour side is matte lustre, whereas the message side is uncoated, so effortless to write on. I’ve paired the postcards with Carta Pura A6 envelopes, with their beautiful deep pointed flap and rounded bottom tip. A truly tasty combination—in the mail, atop a package, at the table, or on the pillow. If you prefer to purchase your postcards au naturel (meaning sans envelopes), you can. The postcards are mailable for the postcard rate, currently 48¢ (or a Forever postcard stamp).

Janet began her art practice in earnest after her retirement (from teaching English) several years ago. Now, she has become an avid sketcher and watercolourist. We are proud to have encouraged Janet to “go public and tactile” with her art...and now are delighted to be the first purveyor of her growing selection of cards.
