NEW Finding Your Writing Voice | Allan Hunter

NEW Finding Your Writing Voice | Allan Hunter

Instructor: Allan Hunter

Date: Sunday, June 9 — 2pm-5pm

The best inspirations for writing come from your own life. We will use brief writing exercises and visualization techniques to cut through to what you really need to write—which may be different from what you’d previously thought. Sometimes in the casual details of our lives are beautiful hidden stories. We will explore how early experiences shape the nature of the story we may want to tell and how to recognize the ‘inspiration’ that can start from the smallest things, if we allow
ourselves to respond to them.

You will receive a nifty notebook with ruled pages & your choice of a Japanese paper covered pencil.

Our studio is light-filled, airy, and organized. You are welcome to browse our extensive library of books about bookbinding, calligraphy, and drawing. We look forward to sharing our love of drawing & painting with you in this three hour workshop!
